My acupuncture journey started in 2009 when I had treatment for fertility problems. The results were astounding and my interest was sparked; I’ve had treatment ever since to keep me on top form.

As a result I became very interested in and inspired by Chinese Medicine and now that I can use it to help others, I am even more passionate about it. I graduated from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, where I completed a four year degree in Acupuncture.

I practice a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture and often incorporate Tuina massage within a treatment, especially when dealing with musculo-skeletal problems and pain. There is nothing more satisfying than watching a patient leave the clinic free of pain, or in considerably less pain than when they entered the room an hour earlier!

As a member of the British Acupuncture Council I abide by their strict codes of conduct and their program of continued professional development, meaning I am kept up to date with current teachings and research. Since graduating I have undertaken further training in:

  • Diploma in Gynaecology, Fertility and Obstetrics
  • Tuina Massage Diploma
  • It Takes Two – fertility course with Jill Glover
  • ‘Balms, Plasters and other mediums for Musculoskeletal & Internal Conditions’ with Kevin Young
  • ‘Jing Fang, Six Divisions’ with Frances Turner
  • Five Element Emotions.
